D-CAF’s 2017 edition will seek to tread new ground through combining its separate film and literature programs to produce a well-rounded lineup that is sure to leave tons of popcorn in its wake. The program will be curated by celebrated producer, Isbabelle Fauvel, who will bring her considerable experience to the festival’s various screens. Critically acclaimed projects such as Denis Villeneuve’s “Incendies” and Philippe Falardeau’s “Monsieur Lazhar” will be just two of the program’s many successful pictures. Master classes and play readings of translated excerpts in public spaces will also be displayed.
