This year’s performing arts program will once again revolve around spreading the boundaries of art in interactive and contemporary performances that allow unbridled creativity to take center stage. World-renowned French choreographer, Jérôme Bel, will be collaborating with the equally celebrated disabled Swiss group, Theater Hora, to bring D-CAF a highly anticipated and gloriously mystical display. UK-based performer, Andy Field, is taking his unorthodoxly interactive and imminently memorable “Lookout” gig to the roofs of Cairo in another of this year’s most anticipated acts. The lineup for the performing arts program in this year’s D-CAF will also include a fascinating fusion between French and Egyptian cultures through Henri Jules Julien’s De La Justice des Poissons and Pascal Rambert’s Cloture de l’amour, which will in fact receive its Arab premiere as part of the festivities.
