Ridina Ahmedová will perform her astonishing solo concert with a sampler that enables her to provide real time voice loops and layers. Vocal compositions and improvisations unwind in a spiral. There are no musical instruments, just her voice.
In addition to her solo concerts, Ridina is part of the award-winning duo HLASkontraBAS – nominated for the main Czech Anděl Awards. Her prior works include the solo CD Hlasem (Voice) and her solo concert project Hlasokraj (Voice Landscapes), for which she received the Next Wave award. Ahmedová is the founder and head of Hlasohled – a centre for work with the human voice, which has been offering conferences, seminars and workshops for sixteen years.
