This year, we are delighted to present the 9th edition of AAF in collaboration with the British Council’s IN BETWEEN platform, as part of the Downtown Contemporary Arts Festival (D-CAF). IN BETWEEN reimagines festival-making in the Arab region by nurturing collaboration and resilience.
Together, this partnership presents a curated programme that amplifies diverse artistic voices and underlines the role of festivals as vital meeting points for creativity, dialogue, and shared resilience.
The programme includes 18 performances, 3 installations, and industry pitch sessions by artists from Palestine, Lebanon, Morocco, Algeria, the United Arab Emirates, Syria, Tunisia, and Egypt.
