Dalia Khalife is performer, dancer, multidisciplinary artist and scenographer based in Beirut. She examines psycho-physiological happenings within power structures, social events, and rituals as well as their theatricality. She looks at the pivotal moment of a rupture as well as the liminal space that unfolds in-between which reveal paradoxes and satirical contradictions. Khalife holds an MA in Scenography from Utrecht University of Arts and was one of the 2018-2019 recipients of the Home Workspace Program of Ashkal Alwan in Beirut. She is a former professor at the Lebanese American University’s Performing Arts Department and has performed in Lebanon, Italy, South Korea, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the United Arab Emirates.
