Matteo Fiocchetti

Matteo Fiocchetti is a content creator and visual director currently working at Circolo Degli Illuminati. He is responsible for projections and video content at Juno World and Collective Mood. Fiocchetti studied Electronic Music at Saint Louis Music College in Rome. During his studies, he participated in Erasmus programs and projects that led him to experiment with other art forms such as dance, circus arts, and visual arts. He has worked with Flayer as a technical assistant in the organisation and execution of festivals such as Fotonica, Live Cinema Festival, and Live Performers Meeting, gaining experience as an artist in the field. Some of his notable installations include the audiovisual setup for Lucca Comics and the Termoli Media Arts Festival. He has also performed at Live Performers Meeting (LPM) Apulia, LPM Rome, and LPM Münster.

Fiocchetti’s artistic style is driven by invention and practical realisation. Fascinated by how things work, he strives to interact with as much technology as possible, from Arduino to complex softwares like TouchDesigner and After Effects. His expertise extends to the field of electronic music, utilising software and hardware such as Max MSP and modular systems. His research focuses on the interaction between various art forms, aiming to create unity and connections among them.

Matteo Fiocchetti is one of the artists of the Digitalatium project by Fotonica Festival in the framework of Lazio Contemporaneo Regione Lazio. The Cairo tour is in collaboration with the Cairo Video Festival by Medrar.
