Shady Abdelrahman

Shady Abdelrahman is an actor, dancer, mime artist and clown.

He received a degree in Sociology, Anthropology and Folklore from Helwan University in 2012.

He started as an actor in 2007 in many theatrical performances most of them were comedy then he worked in various theater forms such as comedy theater, physical theater, street theater, and performed improvisation and Play back theater though Geran project and Almurtajalakhana and made his first appearance on televisionas an actor in “El Plateau – season 3” then his participated in many films and TV series.

With a background in popping dance, his journey with contemporary dance began in 2011.

He received a scholarship to attend an intensive training program in Amsterdam and graduated from the first generation of the Cairo Contemporary Dance Center and he worked as a dancer, theater director and choreographer through MAAT for contemporary art and participated with many European companies in many international festivals in Egypt, England, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Morocco.

حصل على ليسانس الأداب في علم الإجتماع والأنثروبولوجيا والفولكلور من جامعة حلوان عام 2012

بدأ كممثل منذ عام 2007 في العديد من المسرحيات التي يغلب على معظمها الطابع الكوميدي ثم تنوعت العروض المسرحية بين المسرح الكوميدي والمسرح الجسدي ومسرح الشارع وقدم مسرح الإرتجال وإعادة التمثيل خلال فرق مشروع جيران والمرتجلة خانة وكانت إنطلاقته كممثل في التليفزيون عن طريق الموسم الثالث من برنامج البلاتوه ثم توالت مشاركاته في الأفلام السينمائية والمسلسلات التليفزيونية.

ومع خلفية لرقص البوبينج بدأت رحلته مع الرقص المعاصر عام 2011 حيث حصل على منحة لحضور برنامج تدريبي مكثف بأمستردام وتخرج من الدفعة الأولى لمركز القاهرة للرقص المعاصر وعمل كراقص ومخرج مسرحي ومصمم حركة مع فرقة معت للفن المعاصر كما شارك مع العديد من الفرق الأوروبية في عدة مهرجانات دولية في مصر وإنجلترا وفرنسا وإيطاليا وأسبانيا وهولندا والمجر والبوسنة والهرسك والمغرب.
