Aïchoucha is an immersive solo performance by Khalil Hentati (Epi), combining electroacoustic music with panoramic three-screen video projections. Shot and composed entirely by the artist, the project retraces a journey across Tunisia, documenting traditional musical forms still alive today—from women’s chants in the South to trance ceremonies, mountain songs and working rhythms. With his machines and synthesizers on stage, Khalil builds a live dialogue between image and sound, letting landscapes sing and silence resonate. The music doesn’t illustrate the film—it dances with it. Aïchoucha offers a raw and intimate cartography of Tunisia’s sonic diversity. It is not a reconstruction, nor a nostalgic gaze, but a contemporary reactivation of voices often left unheard. It is a love letter to Tunisia’s sonic memory—alive, fragile, and always evolving.
