Gabriella Cserhati

Gabriella Cserhati is a Hungarian director based in Paris and founder of the theatre research group GK Collective. Trained in film, she turned to theatre and ephemeral practices in 2009. She works on hybrid forms, undedicated spaces, as well as relational and transformative art. With the collective, they create hidden theatre formats such as shows for a single spectator with an interest in blurring the boundary between fiction and reality and engaging with audiences in an ethical way. Cserhati occasionally teaches at FAIAR and Sorbonne Nouvelle, teaching students to write manifestos, hack public spaces, and create spectator-led scores.
