Pergola is a new permanent theatre and public plaza, a place for gathering, celebration, performance, and cultural exchange in one of Cairo’s public green spaces.
Located in Agouza Children’s Park, Pergola embodies a living idea of how our cities can evolve, in a way that is sustainable, creative, and open to everyone. As a direct and imaginative response to the increasing commercialization of public green spaces, Pergola reclaims the park as a vibrant hub for culture, community, and shared experience.

The launch event, curated by Orient Productions and featured in D-CAF, will bring together both traditional and contemporary art forms; showcasing the powerful versatility of Pergola as a venue and cultural space.
