Abdallah Aldhanhani will uncover multiple historical narratives through the lens of his own family history and the current conditions of the world. In Lawrence, he engages with the secrets and mysteries surrounding the presence of Major Thomas Edward Lawrence in the Arab region during the Great Arab Revolt. With the help of artificial intelligence, he explores stories drawn from a wide range of historical documents and studies—including Lawrence’s book Seven Pillars of Wisdom published in 1922 and the Hussein-McMahon Correspondence—and juxtaposes them with the orally transmitted memory passed down through generations in Gaza.
