Valérie Dréville

Valérie Dréville trained at the Théâtre National de Chaillot and the Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique in Paris. Early in her career, she worked closely with Antoine Vitez and later joined the Comédie-Française (1988–1993). She has performed under leading directors including Claude Régy, Luc Bondy, and Yannis Kokkos, in works by Racine, Jon Fosse, David Harrower, and Maeterlinck. Her film credits include La Sentinelle and La Maladie de Sachs. Since 2001, she has collaborated with Anatoli Vassiliev on Médée-Matériau and Le Récit d’un homme inconnu, touring internationally. An associate artist at the Théâtre National de Strasbourg, she recently appeared in Les Possédés and Edelweiss (Sylvain Creuzevault) and Liberté à Brême (Cédric Gourmelon). She is currently preparing a new work with Jérôme Bel.
