In this powerful duet, choreographer and dancer Nacera Belaza, alongside actress Valérie Dréville, explore the body as a vessel for the imagination. L’echo delves into the potential and expressive nature of dance, which they find to be a spoken word within the body. The two artists met through the Maison de la Culture de Seine-Saint-Denis à Bobigny (MC93), in an encounter striving to break down barriers between different artistic disciplines. Their exchanges and passion to share the stage–finding it to be a space for great communion–led them to a world of harmonies, sensibilities and resonances. Drawing from both dance and theatre, they delve into “the junction” where speech and the language of the body converge, to see what forces unravel.
