Nowwar Salem

Nowwar Salem is a Palestinian dancer and educator based between Cairo and Ramallah. Trained in dabke and contemporary dance, she holds a BA in Sociology from Birzeit University and studied at the National Academy of Dance in Rome. A member of Sareyyet Ramallah Dance Company and Bakht Dance and Tech Collective, she has collaborated with numerous local and international choreographers. Her work explores movement as a language of personal and political expression, alongside a strong commitment to teaching and community engagement.
