BINT mbareh is a sound researcher focusing on water in Palestine. Her work explores the physical parallels between sound waves and water waves, the dissolution of borders, and the feeling of being enveloped by a body of water. Challenging settler-colonial epistemology, she centres Palestinian knowledge—from rain-summoning songs to shrine pilgrimage—as instigators of political revolution.
