How do we create text material for the stage? This workshop will discuss the relationship between topics, content material and the text that is created for a performance. What topics and issues are relevant and in what form and language can they be presented on stage? The participants will look at potential topics–personal, local and international–and sketch out potential processes in creating text material for a performance (interviews, documentary material, proper writing, collage technique). Small writing exercises will cover questions regarding genre, form, content and language. Participants will work on writing and language
exercises, plot development scenarios among other activities. They ideally have professional experience and have producted or directed one play.
كيف نصنع نصـًا ملائمـًا لخشبة المسرح؟ هذه الورشة تناقش العلاقة بين الموضوعات ومواد المحتوى والنص الذي يُصنع من أجل العرض الأدائي. ماهي الموضوعات والقضايا الملائمة؟ وفي أي شكل ولغة يمكن تقديمها على المسرح؟
سوف يخوض المشاركون جولة مع الموضوعات المرشحة سواء كانت شخصية أو محلية أو عالمية، وتحديد عملية خلق النص من أجل العرض من خلال (مقابلات، مواد وثائقية، كتابة، أسلوب الكولاج).
بعض التمارين الكتابية البسيطة ستغطي بعض الأسئلة مثل النوع الفني والشكل والمحتوى واللغة، وسيعمل المشاركون على تمارين الكتابة واللغة وسيناريوهات تطوير الحبكة ضمن أنشطة أخرى. ومن الجيد أن يكون لدى المشاركين خبرة احترافية وأنتجوا أو أخرجوا عملًا مسرحيـًا واحدًا.
