Natural Scenes

On a planet haunted by machinery racing toward modernity and advanced technology, what remains? How much of nature can living beings retain?
Natural Scenes is an immersive sound installation that explores concepts of nature and transmutation in relation to the individual’s inner space, where the immediate physical environment is perceived as undergoing constant change, acting as a catalyst for occult aims.
In the manner of an apprentice architect, the artist is assembling scattered shards—in this case, miniature red bricks—to rebuild forms similar to those that existed, creating a world where time has stood still.

في كوكب مُطارَد بالآلات المندفعة نحو الحداثة والتكنولوجيا المتقدمة، ما الذي يتبقى؟ ما مقدار الطبيعة الذي يمكن للكائنات الحية الاحتفاظ به؟

“مشاهد طبيعية” هو تركيب صوتي غامر يستكشف مفاهيم الطبيعة والتحول في علاقتها بالفضاء الداخلي للفرد، حيث يُنظر إلى البيئة المادية المباشرة على أنها تخضع لتغيير مستمر، وتعمل محفزاً لأهداف خفية.

على غرار مهندس معماري مبتدئ، تجمع الفنانة بتجميع شظايا متناثرة -في هذه الحالة، طوب أحمر مصغر- لإعادة بناء أشكال مشابهة لتلك التي كانت موجودة، وتخلق عالمًا توقف فيه الزمن.
