Besan Jaraa is a Palestinian-Jordanian folk dancer who first embarked on her performing journey in 2020 with the Majdal Popular Dance troupe, specialising in contemporary folklore dance. Recently, she has become more deeply engaged with the Jordanian folklore, contemporary dance and theatre scene. Her focus lies in exploring the impact of revitalising kinetic and verbal Arabic folklore to preserve and articulate our shared cultural heritage.
