Hanane Hajj-Ali

Hanane Hajj-Ali is a theatre performer and political activist, and a recipient of the Gilder/Coigney award (2020) and the Vertebra Prize for Best Actor at Edinburgh’s Fringe Festival. Jogging: Theatre in Progress, her most recent solo piece, is a partly autobiographical and taboo-breaking performance that tackles the Bermuda triangle of religion, sex, and politics and has toured throughout the MENA region and Europe.
