مشاهد طبيعية: نقاش فني مع نرمين الأنصاري

In this artist talk, Nermine El Ansari will share her artistic practice in depth, and the methods she used while working on the sound installation مشاهد طبيعية. Nermine started working on it in 2012, which was strongly tied to her surroundings.

Since then, she has moved abroad, and the Cairo she knew then has changed dramatically. Nermine will discuss what it means to conjure memories and imagery through her artistic practice, and talk about her relationship to the city through the perspective of her sculptures.

في هذا اللقاء، ستتعمق نرمين الأنصاري في الحديث عن ممارستها الفنية، مستعرضة الأساليب التي استخدمتها أثناء العمل على التركيب الصوتي “مشاهد طبيعية”. بدأت نرمين العمل عليه في عام ٢٠١٢. حينها، ارتبط العمل ارتباطاً وثيقاً بمحيطها وبيئتها، القاهرة. بعد ذلك، انتقلت للعيش في الخارج. وتغيرت قاهرتها جذرياً. ستناقش نرمين معنى استحضار الذكريات والصور في ممارستها الفنية، وتتحدث معنا عن علاقتها بالمدينة من منظور أعمالها النحتية.
